Prompt: What if the villain was right?

This week’s 500-word challenge invites you to flip the script. Write a short scene or story where the antagonist is the hero of their own tale—and maybe, just maybe, they have a point.

  • Is your villain seeking justice for a past wrong?
  • Are they taking extreme measures to prevent a greater evil?
  • Could the “hero” actually be part of the problem?

Whether you write from the villain’s POV or show the world through a morally grey lens, challenge yourself to see the other side.

🖊️ 500 words. One villainous twist.
